Power Outages Cause Cancelations Across Michigan’s Thumb

Today most events across the Thumb are canceled due to lack of power caused by gusty winds, including church services, in many locations covering Huron, Sanilac and Tuscola counties. There are too many cancelations to list so check first before heading out, but in most cases events are canceled today.

  • Sherman Township
  • Sigel Township
  • Lincoln Township
  • Marion Township
  • Ubly
  • Mayville
  • Marlette
  • Sandusky
  • Deckerville
  • Bad Axe
  • Owendale
  • Gagetown
  • Unionville
  • Cass City

Thumb Electric Cooperative reported about 2,800 customers without power and TEC expects all power to be restored by the end of the day today.
